Stephanie Turner, who was disqualified at a fencing event in Maryland for refusing to face a trans opponent, Redmond Sullivan, knelt in protest.

But we stand by what we wrote: Trump should’ve orchestrated this tariff strategy, AFTER passing the promised bill that would’ve accomplished: (a) tax cuts; (b) deregulation; (c) energy independence; (d) border security.

Unlike Stephanie Turner, President Trump appears to have squandered at least some of the goodwill from his 2024 victory.

We hope we’re wrong. Time will tell.

But, in the meantime, we should applaud a woman who won’t succumb to the DEI tyranny, and a President who won’t succumb to global and partisan tyranny.

We hope Turner and Trump prevail.
