• Susie Wiles was appointed as WH Chief of Staff—first woman to be so appointed in U.S. history. She is the daughter of the legendary football broadcaster, Pat Summerall. [2] 
• To outline his foreign policy vision & agenda, Trump spoke with nearly 70 world leaders.[3]
• Hamas (Iran’s proxy) wants to end war ASAP.[4] Peace through strength is taking shape.
• Putin wants to talk with Trump. Putin is posturing that his position on Ukraine is unchanged.[5]
• Steve Madden—the shoe manufacturer—is ceasing its operations in China and returning to the USA, because of Trump’s promise of a business-friendly economic climate.[6]

Other Takes

Even before his inaugural, the Trump agenda is being threatened by extreme left-wingers. For example, they want to ignore the US voter who categorically rejected illegal immigration; moreover, the majority of voters favored mass deportations. And then, there are those whose extreme Trump Derangement Syndrome is resulting in a dangerous form of insanity.

• MA Governor Maura Healy promises to use her powers to stop deportations.[7]
• NJ Governor, Phil Murphy, somewhat abstractly, will fight Trump’s actions “contrary to values”, whatever that means![8]
• CA Governor Gavin Newsom, like his NJ counterpart, vaguely said, “I won’t sit idle”; he too plans to fight Trump.[9] On what exactly? No one knows.
• A Mexican caravan with thousands of illegals broke up, with most of them returning to their homelands.[10]
• Nicole Hart, a physician’s assistant in an OBGYN office in PA, was fired after writing she hopes that “the daughters of Trump supporters have ectopic pregnancies.” (Ectopic pregnancy: A fertilized egg implants outside of the uterus, usually in a Fallopian tube. This usually ends in a miscarriage.)[11]
• Several university professors are coddling their students to “cope” with Trump’s victory by cancelling classes; Harvard and Princeton, unsurprisingly, are among those.[12] We couldn’t find a single university that cancelled classes when Biden won in 2020.
